There are three main reasons for the varying styles:
The first is a desire that the artist be able to paint on anything he/she wanted (not just the type of art that the artist would do at this particular time). As we know, this led to a lot of people using their imagination to create their own styles of art. The second reason is to be able to control the line of line as well as line thickness for a smoother, smoother looking result. The third reason is to be able to create more fluid forms like strokes, lines, and lines or “swirls” that give a visual impression of depth.
