I recommend that if a person is using a white pencil that they use a black eraser for erasing. However, it also helps to use a red pen to erase the lines and a white paper for the writing, and if you use a grey pencil like a pencil, it may be harder for the eraser to make an impact… I found that by putting the pencil to the top of the eraser and gently tapping it at the pencil, you can make that small eraser mark, but be careful not to do it too long until the pencil stops having much impact.
And remember: If your eraser goes bad, make sure that the water is out of the eraser.
4. Using the Sharpest, Brightest Black Brush
The best way to keep an eraser sharp for your drawing is to keep it clean and use a black brush that is sharp enough to do the job. Here are the top five most popular erasers on the market today:
1. Fine eraser
2. Superfine eraser
3. Broad brush
4. Fine tip
5. Black tip
Some people just don’t want to wear glasses, but if you have glasses, or are suffering from one, don’t be afraid to get an eraser – no matter the price. One of the least expensive erasers on the market is the fine tip, which costs approximately $0.50 per sheet.
If you’re really interested in an ultra-bright eraser, think about the Ultra Bright Energized Eray Black Black Eraser. On the bottom end of the price range, they come in two models: a fine one that is nearly as bright as that of an ordinary sharp eraser at about 3,000 lumens, and a broad brush, for a higher level of brightness at about 10,000 lumens. I have a really nice, low-cost black brush that I use on all my drawings, one I can say I use every day.
So, if you want to brush your pencils to take your drawing to the next level, a black pencil is the way to do it. You can learn more about black erasers at www.eraserbrushes.com.
